INTERVIEW WITH MICHAŁ

First, tell us a little about yourself. How would you describe yourself as a player and as a person?

Michał: As a player, I always give my heart to what I do. I bring a lot of energy to the fight and to learning new skills. I try to get the most out of every practice because I want to get better with every rep.

How do you feel about your move to Kraków? Do you like the city?

Michał: Kraków is a beautiful city with a lot of greenery, which I really like. In fact, it was the city itself that led me to choose AGH University as my school, and the fact that it’s one of the best technical universities in Poland was just a nice bonus.

So you moved here to study. Could you tell us more about your education? What are you studying, what drew you to this field, and what do you enjoy most about it?

Michał: This year, I started studying mechatronic engineering. I was drawn to this program because I couldn’t decide whether I wanted to focus more on electronics or mechanics. This field provides knowledge in both areas, which I find really exciting.

Previously, you played for the Olsztyn Lakers. What do you remember most fondly about that time in your career? What do you consider your greatest achievement there?

Michał: As a player for the Olsztyn Lakers, I have the fondest memories of the community—the people who devoted their free time to make it possible for us to play. I truly admire them for that. As for my greatest achievement, I think it was winning the PFL2 Polish Championship, which gave the Lakers the chance to return to PFL1 and compete in the top tier of American football in Poland.
